Some of My Own Work

On this page you will find various examples of my work. As you will notice, I do not have a specific style as such. I like to experiment with different techniques and topics and not to categorize myself one way or the other. Many of my ideas actually are inspired from the painters who attend classes and what they bring. I will be adding pieces on a regular basis.

Ive just included some of the stages it took to create this piece

Sketching stage
Choosing my colours. At this stage, I have an idea of all the colours needed to complete this painting
This portrait is of a man with grey hair and beard. I painted the skin underneath first before adding the hair and beard
Main facial features and colours applied
Finished with hair applied as skin colours are dry
